Another season, another photoshoot! The Blowfish Malibu team headed out to the legendary Saguaro Hotel in Palm Springs, California, for a colorful shoot for our Spring/Summer 2021 collection. The hotel is full of vibrant pops of color, flashy hues and ultra saturated tones. Our new spring and summer 2021 collection follows suit. It is super bright and colorful, and filled with tie dye and hot hues. So, obviously the Saguaro made perfect sense! (Want to see some of the new product? Keep scrolling for a little peek!)
Our team spent two days there shooting for both Womens and Kids back in November, 2020. So, that gave us a ton of time to prep and get assets ready for the upcoming season. We can’t wait to share what we’ve been up to – so take a look!

All eyes on the Pixi Leopard print.
Okay, we admit it – we’re obsessed with all things SPOTTED. In this case, specifically our Pixi Leopard print, which found its way onto a large number of our favorite sandals this season.
There’s just something about leopard. Over the last few years, leopard print has gone from a trend to print that is here to stay. It’s quickly becoming a popular go-to neutral print, and we’ll honestly never be able to get over how effortless it looks with jeans and tee. It’s a print that screams rock n roll, glamour, and edge – all wrapped up in one confident, fun package. What’s not to love about this versatile print?

Springtime is here! …and, if you couldn’t tell, we’re very excited about it. There’s nothing we love more than warm weather, especially when that means we can dust off our spring wardrobe and stock up on some fresh sandals for the season.

4Earth 4 spring – second edition!
In March of 2020, we officially launched our 4Earth collection, our first line of shoes EVER with an upper composed of recycled plastic. The collection consisted of two of our most popular styles, and despite everything that happened in 2020, we were incredibly proud of this accomplishment.
The best part of 4Earth? One dollar for every pair sold is donated to Oceana, an organization dedicated to cleaning up the world’s oceans. We can definitely get behind that.
4Earth is BACK for Spring 2021, this time with an additional style, Play4Earth. Our Balla4Earth also gets a chic update with a fun leopard print upper that goes with everything and anything in your closet.

This spring things have been quite different, and maybe not as adventurous as we intended, but we wanted to share our top picks for the season – plus we’ve loved seeing how our community styles our faves.

We won’t let “shelter in place” keep us from rockin’ our Easter style.
With Easter falling right smack dab in the middle of the “stay at home” order in Southern California, it’s going to be tough to get into the spirit of the holiday. Especially since we’ve been loving living in our comfy leggings. But that said, we’re going to try to get ourselves together, if anything, to maintain some sort of semblance of normalcy during this time. Easter is a holiday we look forward to each year so we’re pulling out all the stops when it comes to our Easter style.

The HELM wedge, pictured above, has quickly become a fan favorite after being introduced last season. Pair this lightweight wedge with an easy-breezy spring dress for a look that’s just as comfortable as your favorite pair of Lulus.
We need to take a second to talk about our obsession with the LEEDS platform sandal. Introduced last season, this flatform wedge is at the top of our list, even selling out across the US last year. However, this year, we made sure to have plenty available. Our favorite is leopard print (so cute!) so grab this epic sandal while you still can!
Embrace the feeling of Easter by pairing Leeds with your favorite springtime dress – and then change back into leggings after dinner.
We are suckers for a heeled mule (when we’re actually in the office, it’s pretty much all we wear). So the LEOH mule is a great option to slip on for effortless Easter style. Throw on some vintage Levi’s (though we know denim is everyone’s least favorite things these days), and a tee and enjoy the afternoon with your family.
If you ask anyone who works on the marketing team what their favorite shoe is for SS2020, it’s LEIGH. Can you blame us? The mule silhouette? The espadrille detailing? I’d personally wear these every chance I get, so I’ll slip them on Easter Sunday with a pair of vintage Levi shorts and a cute top, and enjoy the holiday in my backyard with my family.
The HIROSHA wedge is back, and better than ever! A pop of leopard and contrasting faux-leather ankle straps make this lightweight wedge a serious winner for the season. Plus it will make you feel a little more jazzed up when you’re at home this Easter Sunday.
The LEELEE wedge is a great choice for someone who wants a little height, but can’t typically wear shoes that are too high. Featuring a velcro closure at the ankle, these lightweight wedges are a total breeze to wear, whether you’re running around outside or enjoying a nice dinner indoors with your family.
Talk about our perfect at-home Easter outfit! Slip into your favorite linen jumpsuit for maximum comfort, and strap on the forever wonderful GOYA vegan sandal. We promise you’ll feel as though you’re basking in the sunshine all day.
Ultimately, even though the current circumstances are challenging, the situation is what you make of it! Spend some quality time with your family/quarantine-mates, and try to find joy throughout the day. We’re all in this together, and we’ll get through this together.
